Makeshift Art Bar — Discipline, directed by Colin Peppard

Colin Peppard turns Makeshift Art Bar’s five‑minute Discipline into a short documentary about performance, grief and ritual, shooting a Harry Styles tribute performer in the neon and old‑town pockets of Benidorm.

The video’s look—saturated grading lifted from a Martin Parr deck, slow, brooding zooms and handheld, guerrilla camerawork—serves the song by refusing a straight pop gloss. Peppard threaded seven hours of footage into five minutes that linger on the private work behind public mimicry: vocal drills, costume adjustments, late nights in small bars. The result foregrounds ritual over cliché, showing how the tribute’s labour becomes both comfort and craft.
