The Pretty Little Problem artwork is magazine cut-out style, a nod to Lily Allen. The wider output includes comic illustration and, in Crack's phrase, "high-drama videos". She made a comic and a podcast with Babymorocco, whose PhatBoy collective supported earlier releases.
The collaborator
Photographer and director Erika Kamano directed the RED RED video and shot the Crack feature. Crack describes it as "another close-friend collaboration, with photographer and director Erika Kamano, that saw Lady Gaga's Telephone tacked firmly to the moodboard".
The pattern is worth naming, because it recurs across almost every artist on this page: the visual identity is built by a friend who is also a professional, and it stays coherent because it is one person's eye rather than a rotating roster of commissioned directors.
